All humanoid enemies are zombies, and then you have some fauna like bears, wolves, lynx, boars and like. On the PvE side of things, there's only like 5-6 enemy types. So the winning factions on a lot of servers just kind of snowball out of control. Luckily you can transfer factions easily and with no real penalty other than a 120 day wait. So if one faction controls the entire map, the other 2 factions are basically paying 3x the cost to travel or something. There is no underdog catch up mechanics or anything.

The faction that got kicked out loses all of their crafting tables, fast travel bonuses and other bonuses. So the battle happens, a lot of bugs and lag and stuff, and territory changes hands. If you're a no name or a small guild, congrats you never get to do endgame. Major downside: Whoever the current "Governor" or whatever leader of the zone (I forget how this is determined, I think it's guild leader of the guild that contributes the most to the zone, so basically zerg guilds) can choose 10 people to be in, but can also kick out anyone they don't, so essentially they can set it to be entirely only their own group. If you've ever played DAoC, Warhammer Online, or Guild Wars 2, you're familiar with how this works.Įveryone on your faction can sign up to be one of the 50. Attackers try to use siege weapons to attack a fortress. To do this, one faction declares war on another faction and the game sets a time in the future for a 50 v 50 siege battle. Like, the major endgame is taking territory as one of the factions (who's existence already doesn't make sense). Some are bugs, some are design decisions. Since I had collected all the shards and clusters, I was waiting for a siege battle for Bozja equipment, but I didn't know if I was playing the game without doing it for 120 minutes. It's a game that has some fun crafting and a couple neat ideas buried in an absolutely massive amount of issues. I waited 60 minutes for the siege, but the siege didn't boil because the island was closed, and I had to wait another 60 minutes on the new island. I think it's not a matter of participation time, but a siege cycle of 60 minutes.Įven now, there are many people who have left their bases for siege battles. In conclusion, I think the problem is that the benefits of doing Skirmish and Critical Engagement are gone when you reach Rank 15, so I would like you to increase the frequency of siege battles or add rewards to Skirmish and CE. Unrelated but bottom down there is a really good comment summing up my feelings Īnd I'm actually very happy that JP players are giving constructive feedback because the devs are more likely to listening to them
